RetroSpace takes place in 2177, when humanity's AURORA fleet is searching for a new home. One of its massive space stations, Aurora 5, is pulled into a black hole and becomes trapped in a strange environment where time itself is unstable.

Players take the role of a seemingly ordinary janitor who becomes humanity's unlikely hope. The station is filled with mutant creatures, dangerous systems, hidden routes, and mysterious events.
